TV/Film/Theatre Scripts

I’ve written scripts for the BBC’s hospital dramas Casualty and Holby City, children’s animation scripts for ITV, Doctor Who comic scripts and two pilot scripts: one for CiTV and the other an American sci-fi TV show.

You can download and read an example of the pilot script I wrote for children’s TV show, Pip ‘n Mick’s Emporium.

A TV series pilot I edited was seen by Spielberg’s DreamWorks and Mr Spielberg himself is rumoured to actually have read it.

But, enough name-dropping…oh okay, just a few more…

In the past I’ve directed comedies by Victoria Wood and Sir Terry Pratchett. The Pratchett play, Mort, was a lot of fun to do! In charge of 50 cast and crew, I designed sets, did auditions, prop-making, production marketing, script editing, budgets and generally enthused the passion of Pratchett’s Discworld fantasy novels into the actors and audience. I also starred in Mort too.

I think the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland (every August) is one of the best places to see cutting-edge performers create new, moving and controversial audience experiences.
